It's not easy to find adult ADHD support and I'm very happy to have found PsychMatters and Dr. Stewart. I've been able to get appointments when needed and he's open to finding the best solution to my specific issues and changing meds when needed.

I am so fortunate to have found Dr Stewart
Finding a mental health provider and prescriber is becoming more and more difficult. My previous psychiatrist suffered a severe brain injury in an accident and all of a sudden I had to find a new provider and there was not a single available provider in my town. I am so lucky that I found Dr. Stewart. He has heard me during very difficult times. I am so grateful for his compassion and his skills.

Best. Psychiatrist. Ever.
I've been working with PsychMatters for a few years, and I have no complaints. Trae's neither a pushover nor a jerk, both of which I have had as psychiatrists. He's helped me get my anxiety under control while managing to keep a good attitude even when I have been a disaster. He's been reasonable about meds, neither letting me flounder in a symptomatic puddle, nor trying to force me onto meds that terrify me. He's consistently respectful, considerate, and empathetic.

Great Care, great provider
I’ve really enjoyed working with Dr. Trae over the years. He is no-nonsense with a good sense of humor. He has always been really thoughtful when considering med changes and respectful with challenges related to med compliance. I never feel like I am being talked down too. I’ve always felt heard and supported. I really appreciate access to see him virtually and on weekends.
